Organic Form Sculptures

This sculpture will be based on organic forms and be tied in with the elements of 3D

design. The young artists will first create organic forms using reeds and masking tape.

These can be either 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional shapes/forms depending on the

artist’s ability. Using the glue and tissue paper the forms will then be covered adding

to the sculptural quality of the form. These pieces can be made to sit on a table or

hang in front of a window or some other space.

artistic expression inspiring children from ALL of our community.

This program is supported in part by a Community Arts Grant made possible by the City of New Orleans. The grant is administered through the Arts Council of New Orleans.  Additional support is from Neighborhood Housing Services and Du Mois Gallery.
